The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Pluto is the most remote and melancholic of all the missions in the collection: Pluto, the dwarf planet located about 5.9 billion kilometers from the Sun, first visited in 2015 by NASA's New Horizons probe after a nine-year journey. The Mission to Pluto is the MoonSwatch of distance, the unknown, the deep cold gray that evokes the darkness at the edge of the solar system — the most introspective and most collectible of the eleven original missions from the 2022 Omega × Swatch collaboration.
Design and Features
The deep dark gray Bioceramic with white and black details creates the most austere palette in the collection: three chronograph subdials, tachymeter scale with “Dot over 90,” and Super-LumiNova® on hands and indices. The battery cover shows the dwarf planet Pluto alongside the legend “DREAM BIG – FLY HIGHER – EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE – REACH FOR THE PLANETS.”
