Design and Features of the Royal Pop
The Royal Pop reinterprets the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak (1972) in a 40 mm modular pocket watch format. It recovers the hallmarks of the Royal Oak — the octagonal bezel with its eight hexagonal screws and the dial with the "Petite Tapisserie" effect — and combines them with the colorful and playful spirit of the 1980s Swatch POP. There are eight models, each named with the word "eight" in a different language, in Lépine (crown at 12) and Savonnette (hunter case with crown at 3) formats.

- Case, crown, and clip in Bioceramic, Swatch’s patented material (two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced from castor oil).
- Double sapphire crystal (front and back) with anti-reflective coating, a first in the Bioceramic range.
- New manual-wind SISTEM51 movement with 90 hours power reserve, Nivachron anti-magnetic balance spring, and hands with Super-LumiNova Grade A.
