The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Moon is the first model of the collection that started it all: a tribute to the Omega Speedmaster Professional, the only watch that walked on the Moon on July 21, 1969. Launched in March 2022, this collaboration between Omega and Swatch made the most famous icon of Swiss watchmaking history in space exploration accessible, maintaining the Moonwatch design language — stepped dial, tachymeter scale, three chronograph subdials — in a Bioceramic case at an affordable price. The Mission to Moon, in lunar gray with white hands and scale, is the most faithful in color palette to the original Speedmaster.
Design and features
The dark gray dial with white details replicates the sobriety of the professional Speedmaster: three chronograph subdials (running seconds at 6, 60-minute counter at 10, tenths of a second at 2), tachymeter scale with the characteristic “Dot over 90,” hands and indices with Super-LumiNova® for night reading. The case back is engraved with the legend “DREAM BIG – FLY HIGHER – EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE – REACH FOR THE PLANETS” and an image of the Moon on the battery cover.
