The name came a year later: the 1950 World Cup was being held in Brazil, and adidas decided to call it Samba to represent it. The profile is unmistakable: low cut, leather T-toe, three side stripes and a gum rubber sole. In this version, Collegiate Green covers the main leather body, while black is reserved for the three stripes and reinforcements.
