It was the first model adidas made in suede instead of canvas or leather, which alone made it a milestone. It was originally offered in red and blue, both with white stripes, and each version had its own last and sole depending on the sport. The red version, designed for indoor courts, featured a translucent rubber sole with a herringbone pattern.
The Indoor version stays truest to those roots: low profile, soft suede, slim tongue, and that translucent rubber sole that grips wooden floors. This colorway combines three warm-toned layers — a Cream body, White panels and lining, red Three Stripes and details — over the gum sole, which completes the look and gives it its archival feel.
