The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Uranus celebrates the most mysterious of the ice giants: Uranus, the seventh planet, the only one that orbits the Sun completely on its side with its axis tilted 98 degrees, and which has not been visited by any space probe since Voyager 2 in 1986. Its methane atmosphere gives it that hypnotic blue-green color that inspires one of the freshest and most unusual MoonSwatches in the inaugural collection — a pale sky blue almost turquoise that clearly sets it apart from the dark blue of the Mission to Earth.

Design and features

The pale sky blue bioceramic with white and light blue details evokes Uranus’s gaseous atmosphere: three chronograph subdials, tachymeter scale with “Dot over 90,” and Super-LumiNova® on hands and indices. The battery cover shows the tilted planet Uranus alongside the legend “DREAM BIG – FLY HIGHER – EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE – REACH FOR THE PLANETS.”
