The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Mars pays tribute to the most explored planet in the solar system after Earth: the red of Mars, the iron oxide of its surface, the atmosphere that has fascinated humanity since Galileo. Part of the collection of eleven original models launched in March 2022 through the collaboration between Omega and Swatch, the Mission to Mars translates the language of the Speedmaster Professional into the clay-red of the neighboring planet — one of the most popular color schemes in the entire MoonSwatch range.
Design and Features
The red clay Bioceramic case and the dial with white and red details create Mars' most recognizable palette. The three chronograph subdials, the tachymeter scale with the “Dot over 90,” and the Super-LumiNova® on hands and indices are constants of the line. The case back features an image of the planet Mars alongside the legend “DREAM BIG – FLY HIGHER – EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE – REACH FOR THE PLANETS.”
