The Swatch x Omega Bioceramic MoonSwatch Mission to Earth - Desert is one of the additional editions of the MoonSwatch collection that expands the palette of the original “Mission to Earth”: if the first Earth was ocean blue, the Desert version captures the other side of the planet seen from orbit — the vast sand deserts, the arid stretches of the Sahara, Arabia, and the Australian deserts that from the ISS appear as golden and ochre stripes among the blues of the water. An Earth-tone MoonSwatch that connects with the trend of the arid landscape as a reference in contemporary fashion.
Design and features
The sand-ochre toned Bioceramic with cream and light brown details creates the earthiest palette of the Earth editions: three chronograph subdials, tachymeter scale with “Dot over 90,” and Super-LumiNova® on hands and indices. The battery cover on the back shows an image of the Earth’s deserts alongside the legend “DREAM BIG – FLY HIGHER – EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE – REACH FOR THE PLANETS.”
