This is the second collaboration between Salomon and New York designer Sandy Liang, born in 1991 and raised between Flushing, Queens, and her family’s congee restaurant in Chinatown, Manhattan. After studying at Parsons School of Design, Liang launched her brand in 2014 and went viral in 2019 with her iconic leopard jackets, defining the “downtown coquette” aesthetic now worn by everyone from Bella Hadid to Olivia Rodrigo. The Vanilla Ice, launched on July 25, 2024, combines Salomon’s trail expertise with the feminine, romantic nostalgia that characterizes Liang’s work.
Salomon was founded in 1947 in the French Alps, and has brought its mountain technology to urban footwear ever since. The Marie-Jeanne is a hybrid between the RX Recovery sandal and the classic Mary Jane: a breathable mesh upper with crisscross straps across the instep and an RX sole featuring Salomon’s Energy Cell cushioning. The Vanilla Ice version adds pink details and floral motifs designed by Sandy Liang on the co-branded footbed.

Changing sizes is easy: request the return from your account under My orders, indicate the size you want in the comments, and as soon as we receive the item, we’ll send you the new size at no shipping cost. There’s no need to place a new order.
We’ll provide the return label via WhatsApp (SEUR or UPS in mainland Spain; UPS for all other destinations). Its cost is the standard rate for your area, for example €6.95 in mainland Spain. The item must be unused and have the Next Step Verified tag intact.
