On was founded in Switzerland in 2010 by triathlete Olivier Bernhard together with Casper Coppetti and David Allemann, and launched its first shoe in 2012 with a very specific idea: CloudTec technology, a series of horizontal hollow tubes that compress upon landing and tense during push-off. The Cloudtilt was introduced in 2023 as the original model from the collaboration between On and the Spanish fashion house LOEWE, and it has remained in the catalog as the brand's urban offering. The Midnight Ice version comes in midnight blue.
