The Air Max 270 “Seattle Away” was part of the Home and Away pack that Nike created with Foot Locker in 2019, a series inspired by specific cities. The Away version used a Wolf Grey, Volt, and Obsidian palette, with references to area code 206 distributed across the shoe. It launched on March 8, 2019.
The 270 silhouette is built around a large, highly visible Air unit in the heel, with a mesh upper and an elastic collar that make it easy to slip on. In this edition, the heel panel features Velcro, and the shoe came with three interchangeable patches referencing 206 for customization.
