The Gel-SD Arzachotto was born from the collaboration between OTTO 958, Kiko Kostadinov’s project with California gallery Moran Moran, and ASICS, reinterpreting the concept of the GEL-SD Lyte in a much more pared-back slip-on silhouette. The design started with the egg as a shape: an outer protective shell and an inner membrane, translated into a sculpted midsole and a molded upper that wraps around the foot. This Dioptase edition takes that experimental concept into a monochromatic tone that reinforces the model’s sculptural character.
The silhouette moves away from traditional closures in favor of a laceless construction that fits the foot like a second skin, inheriting the technical attitude of the GEL-SD family while taking it into much more sculptural territory. In this Dioptase colorway, both the upper and sole share the same tone, reinforcing the silhouette’s monolithic effect.
