The Son of Mars was born from the relationship between Michael Jordan and Spike Lee—or, more precisely, from Mars Blackmon, the Jordan-obsessed character Lee played in his 1986 film and later in Nike ads in the late ’80s. That campaign, with its famous sneaker slogan, changed sports advertising and eventually earned Lee his own silhouette, the Spiz’ike. The Son of Mars is its direct descendant, with the Low version introduced in 2015.
Its design is a very specific collage: the tongue comes from the Air Jordan 5, the elephant print from the Air Jordan 3, the wavy midsole from the Air Jordan 4, and the overlays from the Air Jordan 6. The result is a bulky, instantly recognizable silhouette, which the Unite edition presents in a low-top cut.

Changing sizes is easy: request the return from your account under My orders, indicate the size you want in the comments, and as soon as we receive the item, we’ll send you the new size at no shipping cost. There’s no need to place a new order.
We’ll provide the return label via WhatsApp (SEUR or UPS in mainland Spain; UPS for all other destinations). Its cost is the standard rate for your area, for example €6.95 in mainland Spain. The item must be unused and have the Next Step Verified tag intact.
