Edison Chen — founder of CLOT, artist, and streetwear icon from Hong Kong — took the adidas Superstar (1969) and transformed it into something it had never been before: a dress shoe. The 2024 White Crystal Sand features satin patent leather on the upper, Three Stripes in black patent leather, a stacked midsole inspired by formal shoes, brogue-style perforations on the sides, and a leather tassel hanging from the laces. A Superstar that looks like it came from a Savile Row tailor rather than a basketball court.
