The Handball Spezial was launched in 1979 as an indoor handball shoe, a sport that demands a lot from footwear because of its short changes of direction and constant friction. That is where its three defining features come from: an all-suede upper for effortless movement, a reinforced heel counter, and a sole with a tread designed to grip parquet flooring. Gary Aspden brought it back from the archives in 2013 and made it the core of the adidas Spezial line.
It retains the suede T-toe, leather 3-Stripes, and SPEZIAL text on the side, with elastic laces that make them easy to slip on in one go. Collegiate Navy covers the suede, while Clear Sky, a light blue, highlights the three stripes: the most recognizable contrast in the Spezial family.

Changing sizes is easy: request the return from your account under My orders, indicate the size you want in the comments, and as soon as we receive the item, we’ll send you the new size at no shipping cost. There’s no need to place a new order.
We’ll provide the return label via WhatsApp (SEUR or UPS in mainland Spain; UPS for all other destinations). Its cost is the standard rate for your area, for example €6.95 in mainland Spain. The item must be unused and have the Next Step Verified tag intact.
