February 2022. Bad Bunny and adidas present the most ambitious project of their collaboration to date: the Forum Powerphase "Catch and Throw." Inspired by Benito's childhood games in Puerto Rico and the early 2000s skate culture, this model combines the Forum upper with the Powerphase sole, creating a hybrid silhouette that didn’t exist before this collab.
The construction is a layering exercise: leather, neoprene, and ballistic mesh form a multicolor upper where khaki brown dominates alongside pastel orange details (Three Stripes), blue (heel clips), salmon (forefoot), violet (top eyelets), and green (bootie interior). Its real name — "Benito" — is embroidered on the side panel. The third eye, in neon yellow, decorates the extra detachable tongue. Removable velcro panel on the heel.
