The P-6000 appeared in 2019 as a tribute to the runners Nike made in the early 2000s, specifically the Pegasus 25 and Pegasus 2006. It took the breathable mesh base and wavy synthetic leather panels from them, multiplying the vertical and horizontal overlays to form a grid. The model took a few years to take off, but between 2024 and 2025 it became one of the most sought-after runners.
