The Audemars Piguet x Swatch Royal Pop Black Eight is the Spanish tribute of the Royal Pop collection: "Black Eight" — the number eight in the language of Spain and Latin America — honors the eight hexagonal screws of the octagonal bezel of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the design firm immortalized by Gerald Genta in 1972. The black dial with the "Petite Tapisserie" pattern places the Black Eight alongside the Làn Ba as one of the two monochromatic black models in the collection — with the price difference reflecting design and configuration differences between the two models. A pocket watch with sapphire crystal, manual-wind SISTEM51 movement, and the Royal Oak visual language scaled to Swatch.
