The adidas Forum arrived in 1984 as a basketball shoe and is instantly recognizable by its ankle strap and X-shaped mesh panel. BAPE, the brand founded by Nigo in 1993 in Tokyo’s Ura-Harajuku, celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2023 with a series of reinterpretations of the Forum 84 Low. This green camouflage version was released on May 20, 2023, through CONFIRMED, BAPE.com, and selected retailers.
The silhouette retains its low-cut base, adjustable strap across the instep, and classic rubber sole. What changes is the upper: BAPE’s green ABC camouflage covers it completely, while the Three Stripes and 30th-anniversary branding appear in smooth leather so the pattern remains visible.
