The Out Of Office was born from Virgil Abloh’s vision of creating a low-top sneaker with the aesthetic of late-1980s and early-1990s tennis shoes, suitable for everyday wear. Presented in Off-White’s Fall/Winter 2020–21 collection, it combines references from streetwear, basketball, and running in a recognizable silhouette. The Chocolate White version pairs a chocolate-toned upper with a white base, adding warmth to a model typically seen in cooler color palettes.
It retains the line’s distinctive elements: a contrasting sole with translucent gel, perforated toe box, ridged heel, and the recontextualized Off-White logo, alongside the text "FOR WALKING" and the lateral arrows.
