The Vomero 5 was born as a high-performance running shoe with Zoom Air units in the forefoot and heel, along with Cushlon foam. In 2018, it made the leap into lifestyle footwear through a collaboration with Samuel Ross, and in the 2020s it became one of the most sought-after shoes of the 2000s running revival. The Roam version, launched in November 2025, prepares it for cold weather with water-resistant materials. The Sail Light Stone Gum colorway combines off-white and stone tones with a gum sole.
The Roam features water-repellent fabric, a warm lining, and sealed seams, along with a heel with a stacked sole. The upper combines ripstop mesh with suede overlays, support pieces in the midfoot, and quick-adjust laces. In this version, Sail and Light Stone create a neutral base, the gum sole adds warmth, and a Racer Blue detail on the inside provides contrast.
