The Total 90 line was born in 2000 as Nike’s response to a very specific idea: building a football boot around the striking zone, with surfaces designed for control and shooting precision. The third generation, the Total 90 III, became associated with European football in the mid-2000s. Nike has brought it back as a street sneaker, and this edition is dressed in the club’s Blaugrana palette: it is not an official collaboration and does not feature any crests, but the reference is obvious.
The construction uses leather arranged in clearly defined color blocks. Dark blue covers the outer side and padded toe box, while burgundy covers the inner side and heel. Gold appears only on the key elements: the circular 90 logo, the insoles, and the 90III insignia. It is a color scheme that directly evokes the club’s golden era in the early 2000s.
