The P-6000 debuted in 2019 as a hybrid of the Pegasus 25 and Pegasus 2006. Pegasus has been Nike’s road-running franchise since 1983, so when the Y2K revival began, the brand didn’t have to invent anything: it had two decades of retro runners waiting in the archive. Both Pegasus models shared a mesh upper with wavy synthetic leather panels, and the P-6000 took that design and multiplied the vertical and horizontal overlays to form a lattice running across the entire outer side.
That overlay structure is what distinguishes the model at first glance and what made it one of the most recognizable dad shoes of the retro revival. In this colorway, white covers the mesh base and Metallic Silver runs across the lattice with a metallic sheen, while the Tattoo finish adds the graphic detail that breaks up the monochrome look.
