The Nike Book 1 Neon 95 are part of the basketball line signed by Devin Booker, star point guard of the Phoenix Suns, whose first signature model debuted at the end of 2023. This particular colorway is directly inspired by the Nike Air Max 95, one of Booker's favorite sneakers since childhood and also his father's preferred model. Booker wore them for the first time on Christmas Day 2023, before Nike released them to the general public through SNKRS.
The Book 1 silhouette maintains the structure designed for on-court performance, but in this Neon 95 version it incorporates direct nods to the original Air Max 95 design created by Sergio Lozano, such as the gray gradient on the textile and suede panels.
