The GT-2160 belongs to the GT-2000 line, ASICS’ stability family positioned just below the Gel-Kayano series. It launched in spring 2011 as an update to the range and spent only a few months on the market before being replaced in January 2012 by the GT-2170. It returned in July 2023, driven by the resurgence of 2000s running style.
Its aesthetic is distinctly retro: wavy silhouettes, curved overlays, and a segmented midsole that echoes vintage ASICS from the 2000s. The white base lets the Storm Cloud gray define the side lines and ASICS Stripes, creating a clean contrast that never feels tiring.
