The GT-2160 belongs to the GT series, ASICS's line of stability running shoes that was one of the go-to options during the 2000s for runners who needed pronation control. When interest in that decade's running style returned in the early 2020s, ASICS brought it back in July 2023: first in collaboration with the Montreal-based fashion brand Dime and later in a general release.
