The GEL-1130 came out in 2008 as the ninth instalment of the GEL-1000 series, ASICS' affordable stability line. It was conceived as a more budget-friendly alternative to the GEL-Kayano 14 and the GT-2130, and inherited much of its design language from the Kayano 14. The series ended with the GEL-1170 in 2011, but the 1130 returned as a street sneaker. The Piedmont Grey/Midnight is its coolest version.
Base mesh, stacked synthetic overlays and reinforcements at the toe and heel: that layering is what gives the 1130 its characteristic volume. In Piedmont Grey/Midnight the greys cover the body while midnight blue is reserved for the overlays, the side stripes and the heel, with the light midsole acting as the base.

Changing sizes is easy: request the return from your account under My orders, indicate the size you want in the comments, and as soon as we receive the item, we’ll send you the new size at no shipping cost. There’s no need to place a new order.
We’ll provide the return label via WhatsApp (SEUR or UPS in mainland Spain; UPS for all other destinations). Its cost is the standard rate for your area, for example €6.95 in mainland Spain. The item must be unused and have the Next Step Verified tag intact.
