Philadelphia-based boutique Lapstone & Hammer celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2025 and wanted to mark the occasion with a partner that has played a key role in its history: ASICS. The Japanese brand has supported the store's growth since its beginnings, so this special release is not just another collaboration, but a direct tribute to a decade of working together. The result is a Gel-1130 that translates the store's aesthetic — marble floors, brass fixtures, and leather sofas — into a palette of cream, silver, and gold.
The Gel-1130 brings back the low-profile silhouette and smooth lines of ASICS running shoes from the 1990s, with a mixed construction of mesh and layered panels that makes it just as comfortable on the street as in the gym. In this "10 Year" version, the cream mesh upper is combined with silver metallic panels on the toe box, while the side logo and heel swoosh appear in a bright golden tone. Black leather patches on the upper and lower eyelets add contrast and complete a design that sums up the store's visual identity in a single sneaker.
