The name refers to Chicago’s 312 area code, while the design fuses the three sneakers Michael Jordan wore during his early years with the Bulls: the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 3 and the Nike Air Alpha Force Low.
The breakdown is clear: the midsole and cement print come from the Air Jordan 3, the midfoot strap comes from the Air Alpha Force Low, and the heel collar is taken from the Air Jordan 1. The low-top version reduces height and adds everyday comfort. In this colorway, yellow ochre acts as the dominant color, an earthy, warm tone that is unusual in the brand’s catalog.
