The Air Jordan 1 was designed by Peter Moore, Tinker Hatfield, and Bruce Kilgore as a performance basketball shoe for Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls, and debuted on April 1, 1985. The Low version launched alongside the High that same year, although it initially went largely unnoticed; its big moment came in 2004, when Jordan modernized the design. Cut below the ankle and with less padding than the High, it is designed for everyday wear. This SE edition adds crocodile texture and an electric green finish.
The silhouette retains the classic Air Jordan 1 panels, with the Swoosh running along the side and the winged logo on the heel. Here, black leather with a raised crocodile texture covers the upper, while Scream Green pops in carefully placed details—a calculated contrast between a subdued texture and an unmistakably bold color.
