The Nova IIInfinity is the third release in the adidas Basketball IIInfinity family, and its starting point is twofold: on one hand, basketball from the first decade of the two-thousands, with its robust silhouettes and oversized reinforcements; on the other, the Y2K aesthetic that dominates streetwear today. It is not a reissue of anything specific, but a new silhouette built around that vocabulary. It arrived on the market on November 9.
The construction layers materials: a textile base, overlapping synthetic reinforcements, and glossy-finish panels that capture the light, all set on a wide midsole with a pronounced profile. This is a sneaker that deliberately takes up space. This colorway starts with a Cloud White base and Chalk White details —two whites with different undertones— highlighted by Pure Ruby, an intense red that appears in the accents and gives the entire silhouette its visual structure.
