Nora Vasconcellos was the first professional female skater to sign with adidas Skateboarding, and the Nora model is her signature shoe. To design it, she drew on two very specific references: the archive tennis shoes adidas released over the decades and some of the brand's favorite skate silhouettes from the past. The result is a cupsole that looks like a vintage tennis shoe and holds up like a skate shoe. This white version with soft greens is the brightest.
The profile is clean and low-cut, with the cupsole construction concealed beneath an aesthetic reminiscent of a vulcanized shoe. The key functional detail is the extended toe, which adds durability where a skate shoe wears out first. Against the white base, Aurora Ivy and Wonder Sage appear on panels and details in two shades of green with different intensities.
