The adidas Megaride was born in the mid-2000s, at the height of the “cushioning war” among major sports brands, as the most ambitious model in the Bounce line. This Willy Chavarria version revives that futuristic heritage and reinterprets it through a streetwear lens in the designer’s fourth collaboration with adidas Originals.
The Megaride AG retains the original silhouette but features updated materials: a technical mesh base, textured synthetic overlays, and the signature TPU-ring midsole that defined the model. In this Black colorway, Willy Chavarria adds reflective details and suede panels over a predominantly black base, a design that debuted at his “Eterno” show during Paris Men’s Fashion Week before its official release.
