The Ghost Sprint was born in 2005 as a performance running shoe, during the era of experimental, super-flat silhouettes that defined adidas’s Y2K spirit. Two decades later, the brand has brought it back as a lifestyle model, retaining its slender, almost flat construction, which feels even more current today than when it launched. Team Victory Red takes it to the opposite extreme of subtlety: saturated red from toe to heel.
The first thing that stands out is how low it is: the midsole is barely there, leaving the foot practically glued to the ground. The upper is made from molded suede, with a soft texture that wraps around the foot without rigid seams.
