The Gazelle had its first prototype in 1965 and marked a turning point: it was the first sneaker in which adidas used suede as the main upper material, at a time when training was done in leather. By 1968, it already featured the white heel and microcell sole that define the OG version. The Stack edition takes that silhouette intact and raises it on a stacked midsole, completely changing its presence without touching the design.
Everything stays the same up top: suede, rounded toe, Three Stripes on the side and a branded tongue. Below, the midsole grows in visible layers that stretch the silhouette and give it a contemporary feel. In this colorway, black covers the upper, while cream and white are distributed across the stripes, heel and stacked midsole.
