The F50 Taekwondo is a deliberate crossover between two pieces from the adidas archive that never should have met: the upper borrows the language of the F50.6 Tunit football boot, launched in 2006, while the sole comes directly from the Taekwondo, the brand’s ultra-thin martial arts slip-on. The result is a flat, glossy, studless shoe that adidas launched in summer 2025 in three colorways, including this Royal Blue.
The synthetic AdiHex upper has a high-gloss finish and a grid pattern that is pure 2000s turf style. The three stripes sweep across the midfoot and extend into a smoke-shaped graphic over the lateral toe box. Down below, the sole barely exists: it is the flexible plastic profile of the Taekwondo, with no studs or bulk. In this version, royal blue covers the body, while white appears on the stripes, sole and details.
