At the heart of this model is the original adidas Climacool from 2002, one of the brand's most recognizable technical silhouettes, here completely transformed with Argentine design cues ahead of the World Cup. adidas introduced it at the beginning of 2026 as part of a release dedicated to Argentina's World Cup greatness, alongside the return of the F50 boots Lionel Messi wore in 2006.
The changes from the classic Climacool are substantial: the quarter panel does away with the TPU cage and replaces it with curved stripes over a white mesh base, while a dedicated canvas panel appears on the toe box. On the sides, blue and gold F50 details highlight the connection to the boot, while the original TPU toe capsule remains. The eyelets and tongue use the same canvas, and the heel features the stripes of the Argentina national team jersey.
