Ross focused precisely on what no one was looking at: its technical details and its understated legacy within the archive. That collaboration brought it back into the spotlight, and Nike released general-release versions from 2019 onward.
Its design follows the semi-chunky and Y2K aesthetic: mesh base, leather overlays, reflective details, a structural heel cage, and ribbed side panels. In this colorway, Phantom—a grayish off-white—and Cream build the entire look in warm, muted tones, letting the textures rather than the color define the depth.
