Here, it becomes a handcrafted object made from handwoven leather, and Night Indigo Scarlet is its most intense interpretation.
The upper is no longer an injected band but handwoven leather from Brazil, strip by strip, over a leather footbed. The Wales Bonner logo appears embossed on the side, while the sole swaps EVA for tire-style rubber tread, a nod to African communities that have been reusing worn tires for generations. Night indigo dominates the weave, while scarlet runs across the straps.
